Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) is a group of disorders of the connective tissue, the stuff that holds us together. In its most common form, joints and skin have extra stretch. Some forms of EDS also involve blood vessels, making them prone to weak walls and rupture. EDS patients commonly have a number of other conditions: scoliosis, POTS, systemic mastocytosis, MALS, and SMA syndrome.

While there is no direct treatment for EDS, Synchrony Health specializes in understanding and treating the array of associated conditions. You can find more information here.
